About Us
MEPS, Inc. is a
closely held Subchapter S corporation based in Dallas, Texas. President and CEO
of the company is Mr. Billy Chambers. Mr. Chamber holds a Master’s Degree from
Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas and has 40 years experience with
Solid State Power Conversion (SSPC) and alternator design. Prior to
starting MEPS, Mr. Chambers served as President of Power Technology, Inc (PTI).
PTI was the owner of the patented technology that now belongs to MEPS, Inc. All
of MEPS, Inc. manufacturing and assembly is proudly completed in the United
States.
MEPS, Inc. is a
manufacturing and integrator of on-board, belt-driven AC/DC power systems and
other specialized power electronics. Our existing systems provide up to 30kW of
power under-the-hood and with PTO solutions for commercial, maritime, military
and government applications. We are constantly working on developing new
technology to support customer and market needs.
Our major markets
include the oil field, broadcast news industry, utility industry and specialized
industry applications. Over the last decade, MEPS, Inc. has grown market share
and adapted its commercial systems for use on military applications to continue
support for battlefield power requirements.
